At Indishops Australia, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not entirely happy with your order, we're here to help. This Refund & Return Policy outlines the terms and conditions for returns, exchanges, and refunds.

By making a purchase from Indishops Australia, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:

  • Timeframe: You have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return.
  • Condition: Items must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in the same condition as received.
  • Original Packaging: Items must be returned in their original packaging with all tags attached.
  • Proof of Purchase: You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned for hygiene, safety, or quality reasons:

  • Personal care items and cosmetics
  • Perishable goods (such as food or flowers)
  • Intimate or sanitary goods
  • Custom or personalized items
  • Sale or clearance items (unless defective)
  • Gift cards or downloadable products

How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email us at contact@indishops.com with your order number and reason for return.
  2. Wait for Approval: We'll review your request and send you return instructions within 2-3 business days.
  3. Ship the Item: Pack the item securely in its original packaging and ship it to the address provided.
  4. Track Your Return: Use a trackable shipping method. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or we made an error.

Refund Process

Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If Approved:

Your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-10 business days. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.

If Rejected:

If your return is rejected (due to condition, missing tags, or exceeding the return window), we will notify you and may ship the item back to you at your expense.

Exchanges

We currently only offer exchanges for defective or damaged items. If you receive a defective or damaged product:

  • Contact us at contact@indishops.com within 7 days of receiving your order
  • Provide photos of the defective or damaged item
  • We'll send you a replacement at no additional cost or issue a full refund

For size or color exchanges, please process a return for the original item and place a new order for the desired item.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received a refund yet, please:

  1. Check your bank account again
  2. Contact your credit card company - it may take some time before your refund is officially posted
  3. Contact your bank - there is often processing time before a refund is posted
  4. If you've done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at contact@indishops.com

Shipping Costs for Returns

  • Customer Responsibility: You are responsible for paying shipping costs for returning your item unless the item is defective or we made an error in your order.
  • Non-Refundable: Original shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund (if applicable).
  • Our Responsibility: If the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, we will cover the return shipping costs.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us immediately:

  • Email us at contact@indishops.com within 7 days of delivery
  • Include photos of the damaged or incorrect item
  • Provide your order number

We will promptly send you a replacement or issue a full refund, including original shipping costs.
